Clinic

The school includes a fully equipped First Aid Room, featuring all the necessary equipment and medications for students. We are staffed with 2 full-time nurses who are qualified to administer any first aid treatment necessary, as well as provide advice on health education and other health related questions students might have. All first aid cases will receive immediate attention and an ambulance will be called in case of an emergency. It is important that medical information regarding all students is shared with the School Clinic and those medical records are given to the Nurses. The School Nurses are on call throughout the school day.

Parents will be informed when their child receives attention from the nurses in the clinic. Medication

• The clinic nurses will administer medication that is prescribed by a Medical Doctor as per the official script. Parents must supply a copy of the script and medication.
• The clinic will support all students with minor headaches only after receiving written permission from parents.
